Do you love watching wrestling? I have loved the form of entertainment for years, since I was a kid. The athleticism, the scripted storytelling, the bright lights and the characters are just a few of the great parts of watching wrestling. But how can you watch it?

Watch WWE
Some of the best news for UK residents is that you can watch weekly highlight shows for normal TV, for free. No longer is everything kept on pay to air TV. Highlight shows are shown on channel 5 each weekend so you can catch up on what’s been going on. If you want full access, you need to have a BT Sport subscription as they have the rights to WWE. This is how you can watch the weekly shows live and complete, as well as order PPV events.
The WWE have their own network, which is really quite affordable when you compare it to BT Sport. You get a free trial and then it’s £9.99 a month to watch wrestling online. When you consider that a PPV is £19.99 to order and they are usually once a month, £9.99 is a bargain. You could be watching wrestling all month long! It includes access to PPVs, you can watch the incredible NXT events and a whole load of back catalogue too.
Watch AEW
The new kid on the block, fronted by Tony Khan and with top stars such as Cody Rhodes, Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho and The Young Guns, is AEW. All Elite Wrestling takes us back to what wrestling is all about. It has even started competing with NXT in the Wednesday Night Wars. A throwback to the Monday Night Wars days between WWF and WCW. AEW is available to watch on ITV4 or via the ITV Hub.
The PPVs were once available on ITV Box Office. However, since that shut, the only way to watch those events is via FITE. You can stream it too to watch wrestling online. AEW has plans to tour the UK. Potentially even bringing a PPV event over here, when it is safe to do so after the pandemic. The UK PPV idea is interesting as it’s been something many wrestling fans have been wanting WWE to do for ages.
Watch NJPW
New Japan Pro Wrestling is based out of Tokyo and there is great news if you are a fan. In February 2021 there was a new deal announced with NJPW content being shown on the Roku channel in the USA, Canada and the UK! You’ll be watching wrestling from high flying and hard hitting stars including Kota Ibushi, Tama Tonga and Zack Sabre Jr.

Watch Impact
Impact Wrestling is another show you could be watching in your TV screens. Head to Freeview channel FreeSports and you’ll find the weekly show from the Impact Zone to enjoy. Enjoy watching wrestling matches between the likes of the Good Brothers, Rohit Raju, Deonna Purrazzo, Tenille Dashwood and the Motor City Machine Guns.
As you can see there are so many ways to enjoy watching wrestling from the comfort of your own home. You can watch wrestling online via streaming services and also on YouTube. Find what shows you have access to and discover new ways to enjoy watching wrestling.
